I was really looking for something special to emerge at the Messy Mavens class at the Craft Shack Studio. I have admired Carissa’s art and style for a long time. I just felt like I was in a place for magic to happen. The first board I created I was color blind and allowed the universe to select the colors while I picked with my eyes closed. My maven however just didn’t appear. So with encouragement from the class, I hurried to create another board.
This time, I chose colors that called to me and felt juicy. There was no time to waste, others were already painting their mavens. What a testimony…when we stop over-thinking and get out the way, cool stuff happens. I had barely finished the background when I clearly saw the jaw line of my maven. Amazing!
Somebody tell me, why am I not playing more?!
