I am a purger, there—I said it. I love going through my house and finding drawers, cabinets, shelves, anything that needs to be organized. And when I can get my husband to join me, it is seriously like foreplay! I’ve seen this pattern since childhood, I focus on an area, and then everything turns to chaos. When I go deep for the purge, I get to look at everything and see what I really need or want and remove what no longer serves me. I’ve also come to learn that this is also true in my personal growth. I’ve learned to find some comfort in the chaos because I know I am stretching and growing, and it can feel so scary. If I keep taking baby steps, I will move forward, things will get better and I am always happier and lighter on the other side.
